It’s certainly no secret that the summers in Atlanta can get pretty dang hot, which is exactly why you see so many condo buildings and complexes feature impressive swimming pool decks that are nothing short of jaw-dropping.
Depending on the building, condo owners might also get to take in sweeping views of the city skyline from the swimming pool area, or perhaps also enjoy a few added benefits like a separate outdoor kitchen and grilling area, or sometimes even private cabanas that can give you a little break from the scorching hot sun.
Given Atlanta’s hot summer climate, the list of condo buildings in town with a spectacular swimming pool and/or sundeck is extensive, but here’s a brief list of which locations we feel have the coolest swimming pool decks.
W Residences
Infinity edge swimming pools are kind of the hot design right now, which is why we featured the W Residences first on our list. Well, that and because of the amazing Atlanta skyline views you’ll also enjoy from 16th floor pool area, which also has a bar.
Sovereign
Celebrated for its famed “Sky Terrace,” the swimming pool area at Sovereign truly is second-to-none. At 28 stories above ground-level, the views are spectacular, and there’s ample space up there as well, so you’ll hardly ever feel cramped, even on the most crowded of days.
Opus Place
There’s a good chance we’ve saved the best for last, which can clearly be backed up by the Instagram photo below. The views from the Opus Place pool deck are out-of-this-world, and the infinity edge element only adds to the ambiance that simply screams luxury.
