Atlanta Home Values Averaged $145,000 in May

Inventory of bottom-tier-priced homes in Atlanta dipped 1.8%, while middle-tier-priced homes went up to 4.5% and inventory of top-tier-priced homes went down to 2.8%. Zillow Chief Economist Stan Humphries said, “It’s likely that many would-be sellers have decided to capitalize on recent home value gains, particularly as the pace slows, and list their home for sale now in order to move into a new home while mortgage interest rates remain low”.  In May, home values in Atlanta grew as inventory for middle-tier-priced homes rose. The average home values in Atlanta averaged $145,400 — which increased from 1.3% from April and 16.4% year-over-year, as reported by Zillow.
