Atlanta Streetcar Looking to Expand

The Atlanta Streetcar system is looking to expand it’s lines to make the city more accessible for citizens. The proposed expansions include 50 miles of lines around the metro area and would connect many neighborhoods. Costs have not been finalized, but officials will be seeking federal funding. The Atlanta BeltLine project has been instrumental in pushing these discussions, and the plan is to incorporate transit around the 22-mile BeltLine loop.
