Atlanta Symphony Negotiations Stall Over Orchestra Size

It has been eight weeks since the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra musicians started their strike. The Woodruff Arts Center/ASO’s chief negotiator J. Thomas Kilpatrick says the size of the orchestra is the last remaining issue in the negotiations. Woodruff leaders want to limit the size of the orchestra to help halt 12 years of orchestra deficits. Further cancellations of planned performances seems likely.
