Atlanta voters will have the chance to decide on a proposed $250 million infrastructure bond on March 17th. Atlanta has not made a major infrastructure investment since 2000, and many people have noticed that the streets could use some repair.
There will be two questions on the ballot about taking on approximately $188 million in debt to pay for roads, sidewalks, bike lanes, and bridges and about taking on $64 million to build and fix public buildings. More than 225 projects are included in the bond package.
