Historical Markers Tell Atlanta’s Civil Rights Role

    New historical markers tell the story of Atlanta’s role in the civil rights movement. The Atlanta Student Movement began in 1960 and was founded by Atlanta University Center students. The markers can be found on Clark Atlanta University Campus. City Council Member Michael Julian Bond hopes to add more civil rights markers around the city this year.
