Midtown Prepares to Welcome Largest Whole Foods in Entire Southeast Region

A new Whole Foods Market is coming to Midtown, and this mega-store is expected to soon emerge as the largest Whole Foods in the entire southeast. The highly anticipated new market opens in early April, slated for the corner of West Peachtree Street and 14th.

Plans call for the new market to offer not just food but also a cooking school, pub, microbrewery and eateries. Additional plans call for the inclusion of a rooftop terrace with space for movie nights or yoga.

The three-story building is the anchor store to the new Icon Midtown development. The lobby of the 38-story residential tower will eventually allow easy access to Whole Foods, plus an array of added amenities of its own, ranging from massage rooms and a fitness area to a glass-edged hot tub and a roof terrace.

Whole Foods, meanwhile, plans to bring its new headquarters to the area too. That’s slated for Colony Square, just a few blocks away from its massive new market.
