Victorian style houses are some of the more ornate and architecturally stunning single-family homes that you’ll find anywhere in town. But despite commonly being thought of as a “style” or “design,” Victorian homes actually got their name from the Queen Victoria era in history instead.
While specific features found within Victorian style homes for sale in Atlanta have been slightly modified over time, common characteristics still include steeply pitched roofs, textured shingles, asymmetrical porches, and asymmetrical facades in general.

Grant Park
If you’re looking for a beautiful historic home in Atlanta, Grant Park must be considered an option. Specifically known for its Victorian mansions, there’s hardly ever a time where you won’t find at least a couple homes on the market here. But keep in mind that it’s also one of Atlanta’s pricer neighborhoods too.
Inman Park
Inman Park was actually one of Atlanta’s first planned suburbs, which means many homes in the neighborhood date all the way back to the late 1800s and early 1900s. Along with its widespread collection of historic homes, Inman Park is also one of the more walkable communities in Atlanta, truly making it a great place to call home.
