Chastain Park has become more green with Trees Atlanta’s new project. The nonprofit organization planted 150 trees in the popular Atlanta park in conjunction with Chastain Park Conservancy. “Trees Atlanta has been an invaluable resource in Atlanta, and we are honored they have selected Chastain Park for this initiative. 150 native trees will provide shade, cleaner air, and improved aesthetic to both Chastain Park and the surrounding neighborhood, said Chastain Park Conservancy Executive Director Rosa McHugh. The trees planted include oaks, elms, and dogwoods.
